Advance Cleaning Systems, Inc. (ACS) is a Durham based company, owned and operated by Wynn and Sandi Wheelis since 1994. The Wheelis' started the pressure washing business while attending graduate school. After both graduating Summa Cum Laude with Masters in Criminal Justice, Wynn and Sandi decided to continue with their promising company.

ACS is years ahead of the average pressure washing business when it comes to producing a service that is more effective, safer and environmentally responsible. ACS is the only certified provider and applicator of the Low Pressure Advantage. After years of development and research, the Low Pressure Advantage has proven its safety and effectiveness on a variety of surfaces such as cedar, all types of roofing, stucco, E.I.F.S., limestone, wood and other various types of residential and commercial siding. Today, there are offices in Durham and Wilmington, North Carolina.

Very few homeowners and property managers realize the damage they do to the exterior of the building by using high pressure. More importantly, they do not realize that using high pressure on many surfaces, such as stucco and roofs, can actually void the warranty on that surface.

ACS has developed three new low pressure solutions that are superior to any presently found on the market today. Our newest products include a roof cleaner, poly-roof sealer and deck cleaner that have proven themselves over the years.

The roof sealer is applied after the low pressure roof cleaning process and provides a waterproofing barrier that is guaranteed to resist black algae stain for three years. This process is believed to extend the life of both old and new roofs. The low pressure cleaning and sealing process for new roofs can be as little as $100.00.

The third low pressure product is the deck and wood cleaner. This exciting new product doesn't strip the top layer of wood off like high pressure washing, but actually attacks and removes the mold and mildew above and below the wood's surface and returns the wood to a like-new condition. After the wood has dried, a coat of top quality water-based sealer is applied.

In comparison, cleaning a deck with high pressured water is kind of like shaving your face (or legs). You only temporarily remove the surface layer of algae with high pressure leaving a root system behind to grow through your new coat of sealer.
